PORTFOLIO – GENERAL

This is a general portfolio covering different aspects of my illustration work, including work for publishers, my own fiction, architects & developers and some examples from my 18 years at the Daily Telegraph as graphics editor (with 22 national/international awards) and earlier photojournalism in the north of England. I am always available for illustration contracts in any field.

Sir Max Hastings, former Editor of The Daily Telegraph: “… an exceptionally gifted artist and illustrator… I can endorse as simply ‘the best’."

Peter Wilson, leading West End producer who took over the Theatre Royal in Norwich in 1992 and completely transformed its fortunes: “Many thanks for the exploded version of the Norwich Theatre Royal’s proposed modernisation works. I’ve shown it to potential donors, the public and staff and the reaction is universally positive. THe clarity and detail of your work is simply Fantastic. As a selling tool, an advocacy weapon and an illustration of works that will be completed many months into the future, your work simply outstanding. Many thanks for your tireless devotion to accuracy, With very warm good wishes.”

Simon Prosser (Penguin, Hamish Hamilton): “Bloody brilliant. Of course I’ll recommend your artwork to all my colleagues.” (Of a fantasy map I drew for Bernadine Evaristo’s Blonde Roots – she wrote: “It’s really, really smashing. Thanks so much for this.”)
